Get Engaged!  Consumer Engagement in a New Media World

Overview Of The Program

Branding & Marketing has been forever altered by the advent of digital media. Traditional media still has a place in today’s marketing plan, but marketers can’t afford to rely just on TV, print, or beautiful brochures to communicate their messages anymore.

With social media networks, blogging, and other Web 2.0 phenomena, it’s a whole new communication game, and you have to learn how play in that arena.
Consumers are going to mash your brand on YouTube, trash it on their blog, and write a “tweet” about it on Twitter.

How confident are you that the user-generated content that appears will be true to the brand promise? And how do you engage in that conversation—even promote it? That’s what this program explores. Examples from such diverse industries as entertainment, the toy industry, apparel and nutritional products will show how these concepts provide opportunities for any business.

Audience

This program is intended to reach sophisticated marketers who are charged with growing their company’s competitive position in the marketplace and directing the company’s marketing efforts.
